They were strangers in a forgotten land; a land where unmarked territories ruled the desolate soils of adolescents. Like ‘Nam, high school demanded blood. Love was controversial. His heart was at war with his head. Flowers and guns, the battlefield was endless. What happened to peace and love?
Author's note:Yea so just to elaborate on this, I found a note to someone titled, Dear Danielle and it just went on about some stuff, mostly it was smudged but I thought it might come in handy for writing inspiration one day. I don't even know what I was writing it just sort of came out, I could picture this being like an introduction to a movie or short video with Pat Benatar's "Love is a battlefield" as entrance music.
