Spend the day with bestselling author, Susan Juby. This will be the first in a series of six workshops that will cover writing, editing and promoting fiction and nonfiction works. In Chapter One, learn how to fine-tune your writing process and find the keys that will turn the engine of your story on and keep it running. We will also investigate the elements that go into writing effective beginnings.

The day will include discussion, exercises and a host of practical tips.

Workshop participants will also receive personalized feedback on up to four pages of the beginning of a work in progress. (Pages must be received by November 16, 2012). Suitable for novice to experienced writers.

Notes:

Details about upcoming workshops will be posted as they become available. The registration fees are non-refundable but we can offer credit for another workshop if you’re unable to attend the one you’ve signed up for. All fees will be refunded if workshop has to be cancelled.

There are several restaurants near the Filbert Centre or you are welcome to bring a bag lunch.
