like to take a break (as I’m sure you would) from the All Susan, All the Time blogging, to congratulate Vancouver Island’s own Erin Gibson on her fabulous fifth place finish in the freestyle at the North America Junior and Young Rider’s Championship. In addition, she and her horse Kaden took ninth place in the Junior Individual. Erin’s horse is home-bred and Erin and Kaden train with Libby Naylor.
Woot woot! Erin is a beautiful rider and one of a small cadre of terrifically talented riders in the mid-island area. I’m so pleased to see her hard work being recognized.
P.S. Erin, if you read this, don’t worry that I keep a secret stash of photos of you. It’s amazing what one can dig up on Google Images!
Congratulations also to the Canada West team, which placed eighth overall.
And to those of you who don’t follow dressage or have the foggiest what I’m talking about: How about them pictures of Madonna from last week? I think they are proof positive that there is such a thing as too much yoga and not enough cupcakes. Just saying.
