In other news, thank you to the Ontario Library Association for nominating Nice Recovery for the White Pine Award. A double thanks with a helping of whipped thanks to the readers who chose it as an honour book!
I have been to Vegas and Smithers, B.C. in the past few weeks. Needless to say, I am quite confused. But not so confused that I can’t tell you to look forward to the next episode of our series on the writing life. You will laugh, you will cry. You will feel like you were just in Vegas and Smithers.
For those looking for a bit of a laugh at others’ expense, please check out the Savvy Reader’s post featuring high school photos of authors. Please take the time to pause and admire my sash and cameo, plus body-waved hair. Then marvel over the hairdos and clothing style of the other entries.
